Ceramic Tornado Sculptures
The tornado sculpture series developed from my experiments using the centrifugal force of the potters wheel to make tall, unstable cone shapes. Seeing the similarities of these shapes to tornadoes in Nature, I developed tornado sculptures using a variety of shapes, sizes and construction techniques.
